However, they are not recommended for use in direct contact with spray foam insulation; reference should be made to NEMA LSD57-2013. Wet location listed and featuring IP55 ingress protection rating, these fixtures are Air-tite per ASTM-E283. They are suitable for use in clothes closets when installed in accordance with the NEC 410.16 spacing requirements. Furthermore, they comply with EMI/RFI emissions requirements per FCC 47CFR Part 15 consumer limits and contain no mercury or lead, being RoHS compliant.

Photometric testing of these Halo Canless Recessed Lighting fixtures has been conducted in accordance with IES LM79-08, and lumen maintenance projections are in accordance with IES LM-80-08 and TM-21-11. They can be used for State of California Title 24 high efficacy LED compliance under JA8, and the Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDBS) can be referenced for 2019 JA8 High Efficacy Lighting.
